The Endless Hunger for Admiration

There is a difference between appreciating encouragement and needing constant admiration to feel worthy.
When our sense of worth depends on being praised, noticed, glorified, or constantly validated, no amount of admiration ever feels quite enough. The applause may be loud, but the emptiness returns the moment it fades.
True confidence is quieter.
It doesn’t need an audience to know its worth.
The endless hunger for admiration is exhausting—not because the world stops praising you, but because you never learn to feel worthy without it.
