Entertainment is a part of life, but what we repeatedly watch, hear, and normalise can quietly influence the way we think—especially in young minds.
Children are constantly learning from the world around them. What may seem like harmless entertainment to an adult can sometimes become a reference point for a child’s understanding of violence, relationships, behaviour, and what is considered normal.
This doesn’t mean every fictional scene will influence a child negatively. But it does remind us to be intentional about what we allow young minds to repeatedly absorb.
What we entertain ourselves with today may quietly influence the values we carry into tomorrow.
