The Impermanence of Wealth and Power

Riches can bring comfort, and power can bring recognition. A crown may command respect, and riches may open many doors. Yet neither is guaranteed to last forever.Fortunes can change, positions can be lost, and what once seemed secure can disappear with time.

The possessions we accumulate and the status we enjoy are temporary, reminding us that our worth should never depend entirely on what we own or the position we hold. This does not mean that wealth or achievement is wrong. It means we should understand their limits.

Money is a resource, not a measure of character. Power is a responsibility, not a permanent privilege. Both should be used wisely, humbly, and with consideration for others.Instead of building our identity around temporary possessions or titles, let us cultivate qualities that remain meaningful regardless of our circumstances: integrity, wisdom, kindness, humility, and faithfulness.

What we possess may not last, but the character we develop and the good we do can leave a lasting impact.

“Riches are not forever, nor a crown remains forever.”— QW | Quiet Wisdom
