Righteousness Is Worth More Than Riches

We live in a world where success is often measured by how much we have accumulated. More money, more possessions, and greater financial security can easily become the goals we pursue.
But not every gain is worth having.
Money gained through dishonesty, exploitation, deception, or injustice may increase what we possess, but it can cost us something far more valuable—our integrity and peace of conscience.
A smaller gain earned through righteousness carries a different kind of richness. It allows us to enjoy what we have without having to hide how we obtained it.
There is nothing wrong with wanting to prosper or earn well. The question is whether we are willing to compromise our values to get there.
Sometimes choosing righteousness means walking away from an opportunity that promises greater profit. But integrity is a treasure that should never be exchanged for money.

“Better a little gained with righteousness than much gained through injustice.”
