Be gentle

Anger can feel powerful in the moment. It can make us raise our voice, react quickly, and try to win an argument.
But winning a moment does not always mean solving the situation.
Anger often adds more tension to an already difficult moment. Words become sharper, emotions rise, and what could have been resolved peacefully may become a deeper conflict.
Gentleness takes a different kind of strength. It creates space to listen, think, and respond without adding more hurt to the situation.
Being gentle does not mean being weak, passive, or allowing others to take advantage of us. It means having enough self-control to choose a response that brings clarity rather than more conflict.
Sometimes the strongest response is not the loudest one.
“Anger may win the moment; gentleness can heal the situation.”
